Space Zone Report – November 2013

The Space Zone was funded by Science Foundation Ireland and ESERO Ireland. This zone had a high number of registered students from 8 different schools. The zone registered a high number of page views and students were really good at asking questions and following them afterwards with comments. Of note, and as shown on the following pages, both questions and live chats were very focused around the topic of space. Download the report here.

Helium Zone Report – November 2013

The Helium Zone was funded by the Science Foundation Ireland. It had a low attendance of only 207 students, much less than the average audience of 312 students per zone. This was due to the fact that some classes didn’t turn up in the end. Nevertheless, the zone registered a high activity in terms of page views and there were very interesting live chats, especially during the first week of the event. Download the report here.

The Lithium Zone was funded by the Science Foundation Ireland. The zone was highly populated with wide variety of questions and long and engaging chats. The zone was significatively busier during the first week of the event, where the majority of the live chats took place and a higher number of questions were submitted in the ASK section. Nanotechnology Zone Report – November 2013

The Nanotechnology Zone was funded by Institute of Physics. It was the zone with the highest number of registered students, up to 360 students, going even beyond our initial goal of 350 registered students per zone. Students seem to prefer the live chats rather than the ASK section, but there was a great influx of questions in the second week of the event. Download the report here.
