The Space Zone was funded by Science Foundation Ireland and ESERO Ireland. This zone had a high number of registered students from 8 different schools. The zone registered a high number of page views and students were really good at asking questions and following them afterwards with comments. Of note, and as shown on the following pages, both questions and live chats were very focused around the topic of space.
I’m a Scientist, Get me out of here is an online activity where school students get to meet and interact with scientists.
It’s a competition between scientists, where the students are the judges.
Students challenge the scientists over intense, online Chats. Then they Ask follow up questions to all the Scientists, and Vote for their favourite scientist to win a prize of €500 to communicate their work with the public.
